Interior Minister Qassem al-Araji appointed a higher committee to consider the requests of officers who were not included in the July promotion schedule.
"He will present the results of this committee after the completion of its tasks in front of the Prime Minister, because the ministry is seeking to provide the rights of its officers and staff to suit the size of the sacrifices and the duties they have provided," Araji said in a statement to his media office.
