    A document issued by the Parliamentary Culture and Information Committee revealed the return of the draft law on freedom of expression, assembly and peaceful demonstration to the government in response to the demands of the Iraqi street.
    The head of the Committee on Culture and Information MP Mason Damluji withdrew the draft law on the freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration of the presidency of parliament and his return to the government.
    "After the agreement with the parliamentary Human Rights Commission, an official letter was submitted to the Presidency of Parliament to return the bill to the government," Damluji said in an official letter obtained by Mawazine News.
