Thirteen people were killed and 50 injured in a run-off in Barcelona

{International: Euphrates News} According to reports from Spain, 13 people were killed and dozens injured after a truck hit a crowd of people on Barcelona's "Ramblas" tourist street on Thursday.
Reuters said emergency forces had asked for the closure of the local subway and train station in the city and urged people to stay away from the surrounding area of Plasa Catalunya in the city center.
Police said the attack was a deliberate terrorist act.
The Spanish newspaper El Pais confirmed that the truck driver had fled after dozens of people were run over, while reports from the scene said people were hiding in cafes and nearby shops.
At least two armed men reportedly entered a nearby restaurant and detained some of the hostages.
"We heard a loud noise and everyone started running for a hideout," said Marc Esparcia, a 20-year-old student living in Barcelona. "There were a lot of people and families on the site, which is one of the most important tourist destinations in Barcelona.
The newspaper "El Pais" Spanish identification of one of the perpetrators of the Barcelona attack, which occurred on Thursday, and left to the border of the hour and killed dozens of injured.
