Thus, there is a clear beginning to the trend towards local manufacturing in many small and medium industries in
Iraq.
And the need to push and accelerate this industrial orientation Iraq needs is more "industrial initiative" in loans for projects, and on top of these steps is to understand and analyze the challenges that industry faces in his daily work and these problems are many and can not be covered in one subject , and
most notably:
1 - The problem of providing electricity and fuel subsidized in a simple, easy and fast as we can not hope a lot of the industry does not have easy and cheap energy sources and industrialists are demanding a subsidized price for electricity for all their projects.
2. The problem of the long and complex routine that the industrial suffers in the various government departments such as the industrial development departments, the Ministry of Industry, the investment bodies in the governorates, the health, environment, social security, income tax and corporate registrar. The government departments return to the factory every day and is burdened with problems and concerns of the departments and their demands, and this is due to the absence of one competent authority in the field of facilitating the transactions of
industrialists.
It is also necessary that the Registrar of Companies in the Ministry of Commerce open a special section for the files of industrial companies and isolate them from the files of commercial and foreign companies and facilitate the work of industrial companies and not delay transactions, Since the Directorate of the Register of Companies is a documentation department and does not have the right to intervene in the decisions of the boards of directors and public bodies of industrial companies, the intervention of the Registrar of Companies in the decisions of public bodies has become so blatant that companies are unable to do business Or industrial daily, and that not allowing industrial companies to enter the register of companies is one of the most important obstacles facing industrialists and companies
now.
3 - Problems of income tax transactions and social security where it can be said that the time wasted by the Iraqi industry between these two parties represents a large part of its precious time, the tax departments and guarantee to find quick solutions to avoid delays in dealing with
industrialists.
4 - Embarrassing and the exemption of raw materials from customs duties are one of the biggest problems experienced by the industrial every day, the customs outlets have become modern industrialists and traders alike because of the absence of a modern customs clearance system and the scarcity of qualified customs agents in the country and the entry of many intruders to This field where there is a clear confusion in the role of the customs broker and clearance fees and who is the good customs agent?
How can I differentiate between good and bad clearance offices? . We propose to the General Directorate of Customs to open a special section to facilitate the importation of raw materials for local industries

5 - Problems of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control, it is necessary to set a minimum threshold for the specifications of Iraqi production, and this is by adopting
Iraqi standard specifications .
6 - The movement of the distribution of products and the transport of raw materials depends on many days during the religious seasons and official holidays, which requires granting special approvals for the distribution and transport vehicles for the raw materials and produce the movement during the seasons of visits, for example gives each industrial IDs for private cars allow him to move easily and the security agencies to circumvent this Industrial support
