OPEC announces lower prices of its oil basket
BAGHDAD / The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced on Thursday the price of the OPEC basket fell to $ 60.52 a barrel.
"The price of the OPEC basket of fourteen barrels of crude fell to 60.52 dollars per barrel," it said in a statement.
"The price fell from the previous day, which amounted to 61.27 dollars, according to the calculations of the Secretariat of OPEC."
The OPEC basket consists of the following: Sahara (Algeria), Jerasol (Angola), Orient (Ecuador), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Litt (Gabon), Iran Iran ), Sider (Libya), Bonnie Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Morgan (United Arab Emirates) and Miri (Venezuela).
