[ltr]A senior government source said that what is raised about reducing the salaries of employees by 20 percent is pure and confusing the Prime Minister has described the big lie, and it seems that the purpose behind them is to mix the cards for political purposes related to the Kurdistan region of the federal budget.[/ltr]
[ltr]"I did not find in the draft budget a deduction of 20 percent of salaries," the source, a senior adviser to the prime minister, who declined to be named, told Mawazine News on Sunday. "They are fabricating these rumors to confuse the atmosphere."[/ltr]
[ltr]He also denied the existence of a debate between the Iraqi government and the World Bank in this direction, noting that "these statements are based on speculation and there is no such deduction."[/ltr]
