    [rtl]A number of Palestinian youths were injured Wednesday during violent confrontations in the vicinity of Joseph's Tomb in the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Hundreds of settlers stormed the tomb on the pretext of performing their religious rituals and celebrating their feasts..[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to Palestinian medical sources, a boy from Balata refugee camp was shot in the head and taken to Rafidya Hospital for treatment. Another Palestinian was wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head, in addition to several cases of tear gas.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Hundreds of young people were present at night in the streets around the tomb of Yusuf, to counter the Zionist forces and settlers who were preparing to storm the tomb.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The youths closed the streets with burning tires, stones and containers, and immediately after the arrival of the Zionist patrols, clashes broke out on Amman Street and the entrance to Balata refugee camp, during which the soldiers fired live and metal bullets and gas bombs.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Eyewitnesses confirmed that the enemy soldiers occupied the rooftops of a number of high buildings, and stationed a number of snipers.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Later, dozens of buses and vehicles carrying hundreds of settlers arrived, guarded by Zionist patrols coming from Beit Furik checkpoint, east of Nablus.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Jews claim that the tomb of Joseph is a sacred place on the pretext of the presence of the bones of our master Joseph (peace be upon him) within it, but archaeologists assert that the tomb is only a few centuries old, likely to be the place of a Muslim elder named Yusuf Dweikat.[/rtl]
