BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The General Retirement Authority announced on Monday that it was canceling the pensions of retirees, while noting that it would be refunded retroactively.
The agency said in a statement received by "Iraq News", it "began to coordinate with the Rafidain Bank and Rashid and the Iraqi Bank of Trade Tbi and the International Smart Card to pay the salaries of military retirees for the March 2018," indicating that "pensioners can holders of smart card Key Card and retirees manual exchange review Exchange centers to receive their salaries. "
The agency confirmed that it had "carried out the implementation of the cancellation of the pension deduction of 3.8% under the budget law," noting that "will be reinstated from the beginning of this year in the public pension meal."
"I have started to complete a life check for retirees," he said. "The original pensioner who did not submit the life certificate in February should be reviewed to receive a salary."
The Public Pension Authority distributes the salaries of military retirees every two months in individual months, while distributing salaries to civilian retirees every two months for married months. Finished 2
