Sissi congratulates Putin on his election victory

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for winning the Russian presidential election.
In a statement issued by the Egyptian presidency, al-Sissi told Putin "sincerely congratulations on the occasion of his re-election for a new term, wishing him success and success, and the Russian people friendly further progress and prosperity."
Sisi also praised the strategic relations between Egypt and Russia and the continued keenness of the two countries to develop and strengthen them to the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
The final results of the counting of votes showed Russian President Vladimir Putin winning more than 76 percent of the vote, far ahead of his closest rival.
