MP on the coalition of state law, Zeinab al-Khazraji, Saturday, Prime Minister Haider Abadi, to stop the violation of the Turkish army of Iraqi territory by force.
"Turkey does not understand the meaning of force after all diplomatic means failed to withdraw its forces from Iraqi territory," Khazraji said in a statement read by Sky Press. "It has not only begun to carry out military operations inside Iraqi territory, exploiting the silence of the Iraqi government."
She added that "the Turkish president violated all international conventions and norms through the ongoing violations of neighboring countries and most recently what he did in the Syrian Afrin, but he must be well aware that Iraq is not Syria," as she put it.
"If Turkey does not stop at its borders, diplomatic, commercial and economic relations should be cut off," she said.
"It is our right as a country to have full sovereignty to defend our territory and our borders from the Turkish aggression and stop them because they do not understand the language of force with them," he said.
