The United States will open its embassy in Jerusalem on Monday, following the decision of President Donald Trump, and an official US delegation will arrive at the embassy transfer ceremony as Palestinians prepare for mass rallies in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to assert their right of return.
Hundreds of settlers marched in front of Bab Al-Amud, one of the main entrances to the Old City, to celebrate the American action expected today.
Israelis marched through the "flags" carrying Israeli flags and hung banners praising Trump's decision to move the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem.
