The Council of Ministers held an extraordinary session on Thursday to discuss the shortage of power supplies to citizens, while all measures were taken to resolve the crisis and to instruct the investigation to take action against the defaulters.
"The Council of Ministers held an extraordinary session on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi," the Information Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement.
The office added that "the reasons for the shortage in providing citizens with electric power and taking all the measures that contribute to resolving the crisis have been presented, and the investigation has been directed to identify the defaulters and take action against them." The council confirmed that, for some time, And provide all that would contribute to increase the production of electric power. "
