Netanyahu: Assad and his regime are not safe

- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday threatened Syrian PresidentBashar al-Assad , saying he and his regime were not immune to Israeli reprisals as long as Iranian forces remained in Syria . "Assad has to take this into consideration,
" Netanyahu told a conference organized by the Policy Research Institute in London on Thursday. " Israel did not intervene when they fought this terrible war, and he is calling Iran to Syria as the end of the war in his country approaches. He is no longer safe, and his regime is also not safe, and we will destroy his forces if he opens fire on us.
"I think new calculations must be made, and Syria must understand that Israel will not tolerate the Iranian military presence in Syria," Netanyahu said.
"The repercussions will not only be reflected on the Iranian forces, but on Assad's regime, and I think he should seriously think about this issue," he said.
