    For his part, the spokesman of the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad in a statement to the "morning" that the rate of imports is large but was reduced to low levels, after the return of a number of Iraqi refineries to work, especially in the northern region. Production units and said Jihad that " the coming period and before the end of this year will see the opening of a large unit of production units in the refinery Salahuddin card 70 thousand barrels per day, returned them an important step to bring back life to this refinery , which was destroyed by terrorist Daesh gangs." 




    He added that the refinery will produce all the oil derivatives, which fill a large part of the local need as a first stage, followed by the rehabilitation of the second unit production capacity to reach 140 thousand barrels per day, along with the rehabilitation of modern refineries, and Qayara, Chinese, and Kirkuk, Of the local need in this context, despite the circumstances experienced by the country. 
    As for OPEC's recent decisions, Jihad said that Iraq is committed within the OPEC agreement not to exceed the production of 4 million and 400 thousand barrels per day, a commitment of time taken by the OPEC meeting between producers from within and outside the sale of cutting production by 1 million and 800 thousand barrels per day, Which aims to rebalance the oil market between supply and demand, and support oil prices.
    It participated OPEC and its allies since last year in an agreement to cut oil production 1.8 million barrels per day, helped to restore balance to the market in the eighteen last month and drove the price of oil to rise to about $ 75 a day from around $ 27 in 2016 to achieve the goals and drew a spokesman for the ministry That Iraq was committed within the specific production ceiling, and when the producers found that the objectives of the agreement were achieved, Iraq can start to increase production to the rates as planned, especially as Iraq played an important role in the recent agreements, as part of the global system that Controls prices For the oil market
