Iraq and Egypt sign a protocol for joint parliamentary cooperation
17/7/2018 12:00 am [rtl] Cairo / Esraa Khalifa The Iraqi and Egyptian parliament signed a protocol for joint cooperation aimed at exchanging expertise and information to strengthen capacities and competencies in parliamentary work and developing training programs according to the plans set by the two institutions. The protocol was signed by the Secretary General of the House of Representatives, Salahuddin Ahmed Abdul Aziz Zangana, and the Egyptian side by the Secretary General of the Egyptian Council of Representatives, Ahmed Saad Eddin. Following the signing, Zangana described the Protocol as a major event in which the functioning of the Houses of Representatives would be developed because it was linked to parliamentary performance. While the Ambassador of Iraq to Egypt and the Permanent Representative of the Arab League, Habib Al-Sadr, said that the protocol aims to develop training programs according to plans set by the two institutions, indicating that the protocol consists of 7 materials is to build the foundations of joint cooperation and activate channels of channels in the field of human resources development between And to prepare programs to do so. Al-Sadr said the second article provides for the exchange of visits between workers in the two secretariats in accordance with a mechanism to benefit from experience in developing parliamentary performance. The fourth article provides for the organization of training courses for workers in the parliamentary and the fifth on the organization of the protocol by a memorandum to be developed between the parties and Article VI provides for the possibility of replacing the protocol according to a joint agreement, while Article VII and the last of the Protocol effective from the date of signing.
