The Ministry of the Interior issued a resolution concerning diplomatic and consular missions and organizations and agencies of the United Nations operating in Iraq.
"The issuance of an order from the ministry to the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence provides for the exemption of all staff of diplomatic and consular missions, organizations and agencies of the United Nations operating in Iraq from [ Financial insurance or ticket] provided for in Article [18 / III / B] of the Foreigners' Residence Act No. 76 of 2017 ".
Maan said that "this matter is because the above mentioned are not covered by the provisions of the said law based on the provisions of paragraph of Article [III] of Article [1] which stipulates that the provisions of this law shall not apply to: b. The heads of diplomatic and consular missions and their employees Accredited and non-accredited officials who are in fact responsible for their family members, taking into account the principle of reciprocity provided that they are provided with special identities by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs]. "
