The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced on Monday that it had received complaints and appeals concerning the electoral process.
"UNHCR has received a number of complaints and appeals regarding the electoral process," UNHCR spokesman Laith Jabr Hamza told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Hamza added that "it is hoped that the consideration by the judiciary after the end of the deadline for receiving appeals on Tuesday."
He pointed out that "the duration of receipt of appeals is three days from last Sunday."
