The leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Moqtada al-Sadr, and a supporter of the bloc, which topped the results of the parliamentary elections, arrived in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
"The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, arrived in Beirut on a private visit," the source said, without revealing the nature of the visit.
According to the website, Beirut usually hosts Beirut meetings between Shiite political leaders and those responsible for the formation of the Iraqi government in the Lebanese Hezbollah.
