(BNA) Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi issued a decree on Thursday to exempt national security adviser Faleh al-Fayadh from his duties.
A statement by the Office of Abadi received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today, "considering the involvement of Faleh Faisal Fahad al-Fayadh to engage in political and partisan work and his desire to address political affairs and this is contrary to the sensitive security functions that are based on the Iraqi constitution in the neutrality of the security and intelligence services and the law of the Commission And the regulations and instructions contained in this regard and our directives that prevent the exploitation of sensitive security posts in partisan activities, and based on the powers vested in us, we decided to exempt Faleh Faisal Fahad from his duties as adviser to the National Security and the presidency of the crowd And the national security apparatus. "
The statement stressed "the implementation of this decision from the date of its issuance."
