The Inspector-General of the Ministry of Education Ali Kazem Hamid Shukri, on Wednesday, the recovery of four billion dinars and two hundred million Iraqi dinars to the operational predecessor of the contracts of the Ministry of projects canceled from previous years. 

Al-Shukri said in a statement received by Alsumaria News that "his office has pursued the recovery of the amount of more than four billion and two hundred million Iraqi dinars to an operational predecessor of the contracts of the Ministry of canceled projects dating back to previous years."




Al-Shukri explained that "these amounts are special operational advances to five locations of schools canceled within one of the Ministry's contracts for 2012 and was followed up recovery in cooperation with relevant bodies in the ministry." 

Al-Shukri added that "the Office continued to recover these amounts with the Directorate General of Educational Planning and the Directorate of Legal Affairs in the ministry and obtain ministerial approvals to recover them in accordance with the law."
