The leadership of the Islamic Dawa Party, on Friday, issued a statement on the map of the next government and steps to unify the coalition rule of law, led by Nuri al-Maliki, and victory, led by Haider Abadi.
"The leadership of the Islamic Dawa Party met on Thursday evening and discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region and the ongoing negotiations between the political blocs to form the new government," a statement issued by the party's media office said.
The statement pointed out that "the meeting stressed the need to accelerate the formation of the new government and adherence to the constitutional contexts in relation to the tasks of the largest bloc and its role specified by the Constitution, which requires that the government is effective to promote the required services projects and completion of infrastructure projects while continuing to maintain security and stability and combat remnants of terrorism and to complete the construction Security institutions and develop them in a way that preserves the security of Iraq and the Iraqi people, in addition to its tasks in promoting the promising economic project and combating poverty, unemployment and other necessities of a free and dignified life. "
He stressed that "the new government should assume the responsibility of combating financial, administrative and political corruption, and serious follow-up of the files of corruption within the legal frameworks, and the necessary legislative and executive mechanisms to accomplish this task quickly," stressing "adherence to constitutional formulas and timing in the election of senior positions and the formation of government, Confirmed by the supreme religious authority. "
He added that "the Islamic Dawa Party, saw that the new government is open to all political blocs and components wishing to participate in the formation of a government of national partnership away from partisan and sectarian quotas."
