Washington congratulates the government of Abdul Mahdi

US President George W. Bush's envoy to Iraq, Brett MacGorek, on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's government on what he described as four "extraordinary" ministers.
"Congratulations to the new Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, who was sworn in with 14 new ministers, including Oil Ministers Thamer Ghadhban, Electricity Loay Khatib, Finance Fuad Hussein and Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Hakim, are candidates," McGrawk said in two tweets on Twitter. Exceptional to help Iraq recover quickly. "
"The United States looks forward to forming partnerships with President Barham Salih, ministers Adel Abdul Mahdi, parliamentarian Mohamed Halbousi and new Iraqi ministers who aim to improve services and security for all Iraqi people."
The Chamber of Deputies, during its meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Mohamed Halbusi and attended by 220 deputies, gave confidence to Adel Abdul Mahdi as prime minister and 14 ministers as well as vote on the government curriculum.

The United States welcomed the approval by the Iraqi parliament of the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, after the vote on 14 ministers on Thursday night.

"These are extraordinary candidates to help Iraq recover quickly," he said. "His country looks forward to forging partnerships with new Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, President Barham Salih, Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halabousi and Iraqi ministers."
The government of Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi on Thursday night won the confidence of the parliament, after the deputies approved 14 ministers out of 22, while he will vote on the rest of the ministerial formation later.
