Digital media: Officials, including Arabs and foreigners, follow a fake account of the President of the Republic

The Digital Media Center (DMC) on Thursday renewed its earlier warning regarding fake accounts and pages that allegedly represent government officials, ministries and official Iraqi institutions.
In a statement received by Al-Maaloumah, the center said that "its monitoring team has noticed that there is an account of President Barham Salih under the name of Dr. Barham Salih and the link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] It is alleged that the official account of President Saleh and his written statement In Arabic and English ".
"The account was created in October of this year, and the president's news is published in a manner that is not without professionalism, which means that those behind him are personalities or agendas with a certain goal, not just teenagers."
"The real danger of this account lies in its follow-up by a group of well-known foreign dignitaries, foreign embassies, writers, officials, Iraqi activists, media, diplomats and Arab officials, including the UAE Foreign Minister, as well as an important Iraqi ministry.
