On Sunday, the Coalition for Reform and Reconstruction issued a five-point statement denouncing the statements made by Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa against Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr, calling on the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to invite its Bahraini counterpart to apologize and clarify what happened.
In a statement received by Al-Maaloumah, the coalition said: "We express our deepest regret over the words and phrases of the Bahraini minister, which were not taken into consideration to the moral aspect, the customs and customs of inter-state relations. Who represents the diplomacy of a brotherly, Arab and Islamic country. "
The statement added, "We are surprised at the accusation of dependency on Iraq, which sacrificed for decades of struggle and struggle with its various forces - Islamic and patriotic - for liberation from colonialism and dictatorship and after them the great epic in extracting its land from the externally supported Tkfiri terrorism supported in advance of this lofty goal. The whole world, so we count its dependence on a neighboring country unjustly and a flagrant violation of the freedom, dignity and sovereignty of our people. "
The statement stressed that "the abuse of religious symbols and national and political forces of Iraq is unacceptable and condemned," and called on Bahrain to "make an official apology to Iraq and pledge not to repeat what happened, which undermines all efforts of rapprochement and bridge relations and lay the foundations of the common interests of the two brotherly peoples."
The coalition called on the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to "invite its Bahraini counterpart to apologize and clarify what happened through a strong protest note confirming the Iraqi people's rejection of any abuse of its religious and political symbols and its active parties in the democratic process." Ending / 25
