    BAGHDAD - 
    The deputy for the province of Nineveh, former Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, on Wednesday, the federal government to implement the National Safety Law in the province and the dissolution of the provincial council for the Council's inability to carry out its duties in a professional and transparent manner, noting that political and community escalation warns of serious consequences City. 
    Al-Obeidi said in a statement received that "as the dangerous and deteriorating conditions at the social, economic and political levels in Nineveh province continue, threatening dire consequences and intruders insisting on mixing the governorate papers for suspicious purposes and regional, political and financial interests, we call on the Iraqi government to take a decision Courageous and responsible and without delay by announcing the implementation of the National Safety Law in Nineveh. "
    He added that "the conditions of implementation of this law are available, including the threat of political and societal stability represented by the inability of the provincial council to carry out its duties in a professional and transparent manner, as well as the disregard for national sovereignty and state borders, Sinjar province of Nineveh and control the political and community conditions. " 
    "Our call represents a first step to alert the Iraqi government to the political, social and financial violations in Nineveh and to propose solutions to expedite the implementation of the National Safety Law. Otherwise, the government will continue to take action to prevent the intruders from playing the fate of Nineveh. Its people, will pay us and with us at least 17 deputies from the province to take practical steps starting from the dome of Parliament and may continue until the Mosul Street. "
