BAGHDAD / The Iraqi Center for Legal Development ( ICLD ) presented Tuesday seven points to the Supreme Council for Combating Corruption and the Presidency of the House of Representatives on the legality of the continuation of the work of the provincial councils and extension.

The center said in a statement received by "Iraq News" that "the most important corrective steps is to stop the work of state institutions that have lost their legitimacy, which is still continuing to exercise its functions and functions without legal cover," returned from the largest administrative corruption in the state system Iraq. "

The Center noted in its study that "the continuation of the provincial councils to perform their work is contrary to articles (5-6-20) of the Constitution, and the concepts of international law and the Charter of the United Nations," and called "the federal government to run these councils in accordance with the Constitution until the next electoral entitlement."
