Baghdad Council: Corruption reached the owners of generators generators

Baghdad's provincial council confirmed on Wednesday that there is a difference in the prices of ampere in the generators between the local and the other, in contrast to what was determined by the price of local councils, where the price of gold Ampr 12,000 thousand.
But there are agreements between the owners of generators and councils on different prices, which is a door of corruption.
"The head of the provincial council, Riad al-Adadh, has decided that local councils should be responsible for determining the price of amps in private generators, because of the different processing of the areas by electricity, especially as some are subject to privatization," provincial council member Hassoun al-Rubaie said in a statement.
He added that "Ampere pricing was set at 7 thousand dinars for the normal line, which starts at noon and ends at night, and the price of the golden line was set at 12 thousand per amp, but the owners of generators did not comply with these prices."
He added that "the lack of commitment to the pricing set is due to favoritism among the owners of generators and relations between some of the political parties and influential parties, in addition to that there are agreements between some owners of generators and local councils, if not those councils have those generators."
