Integrity announces the prevention of the waste of nearly one billion dollars and the issuance of 34 orders for the recruitment and arrest and arrest of ministers

Shafaq News / The Integrity Commission on Monday revealed the details of its achievements and its investigative, legal, preventive and educational work for the first half of 2019, announcing its semi-annual report, highlighting the completion of its departments and directorates and offices of investigation in all of Iraq except Kurdistan.
The Kurdistan Region has a special integrity commission that carries out the same tasks in investigating and investigating cases of financial and administrative corruption in government institutions and departments, as this is announced in official statistics issued periodically.
The Authority, in announcing its semi-report, confirmed that the public funds that were recovered or issued judicial rulings in response, which prevented and stopped the Authority wasted, and which were returned to the treasury account totaling (1,312,571,395,038) trillion dinars during this period exclusively.
It referred to its consideration of (9571) communications, news and criminal cases, indicating that the number of communications was 2,089, the number of informants amounted to 2,699, and the cases of criminal cases amounted to 4,783.
The number of accused referred to the court of the subject - misdemeanors and crimes - (1939) accused, including 5 ministers and those of their rank, where they were issued 5 decisions by referral, and the number of referred to the courts of special grades and general managers 100 accused, were issued 137 decisions By reference.
The investigations led to the issuance of 857 arrest warrants by the judicial authorities, of which 407 were executed during the first half of the current year, while the number of ministers and those of the same rank as those who were issued an arrest warrant 8, 16 arrest warrants and 106 other arrest warrants against 46 individuals Special grades and general managers.
The number of orders for judicial recruitment issued on the basis of the Commission's investigations during the same period amounted to 2866 orders, of which 2014 was issued, indicating that the number of ministers and those of their rank who were issued with orders were 12, 12 were issued, at a time when the number of those issued against them In addition, 1,124 judicial warrants were issued, one of them against a minister, and six warrants issued against four accused of special rank and general managers.
The report reviewed the number of defendants, criminal cases, estimated amounts and cases covered by the amnesty law, indicating that the total number of persons covered in the cases of corruption referred by the Commission amounted to 986 accused and sentenced in 647 criminal cases.
The Commission noted in its report the seizures and seized funds carried out during the first half of this year, indicating that it carried out 306 seizures, and that the number of accused in those operations amounted to 691 accused, reinforced by the criminal evidence that was seized and installed in the records of fundamentalist seizure organized by the teams Submitted to the investigative authorities, pointing out that the seized funds in those operations nearly a total of eighteen billion dinars and half a billion.
In the same period, the Commission worked on 83 files on fugitives wanted in cases of corruption, 54 of which were processed, while at the same time 197 files were used to retrieve the money smuggled.
During the same year (18552), the Commission received a financial disclosure form. The response rate of the presidents, ministers, the parliament, the judiciary, the vice presidents, and the deputies of the Speaker was 100 percent. The response rate was 77.3 percent. (72.4 per cent), while the members of the House of Representatives had a 20.6 per cent response rate. Only 67 deputies expressed their financial liabilities from a total of 326 deputies until the middle of the year.
The report pointed out that the Authority has monitored the safety and validity of the data provided in the financial statements of 3251 participants distributed among 41 parties, highlighting the draft legislation and laws implemented and proposed by the Commission and the measures taken during the same period. The report also included the educational awareness activities launched by the Authority During that period.
