    [size=45]The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, received in his office on Wednesday a delegation of the Kurdistan Region Parliament, headed by Deputy Speaker of the Kurdistan Region Parliament, Haiman Hawrami, on the sidelines of their attendance of the meeting of the Standing Committee for Budget and Planning in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly held in the capital of Baghdad from 3-5 September.
    [size=45]Al-Kaabi said in a statement that the participation of a delegation representing the regional parliament in the meetings of the Asian Committee is a positive step towards sending a message to Asian countries and the whole world that Iraqis with all their components have been able to defeat terrorism to be a symbol of peace in the world.[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed "the need to unite ranks and positions under the tent of Iraq," while explaining that the current session played a major role in the restoration of harmony among the components of the Iraqi people, and focused on playing a greater role in the development and strengthening of external relations, both at the level of the region or at the level of relations with Arab countries As well as the countries of the world, and the evidence of the size of the Arab and foreign political, economic, cultural and even sports delegations that visit Baghdad continuously, after the world touched the strategic importance of Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed to the importance of successive visits to the leaders of the region and high-level delegations, as well as the great role played by the representatives of the region in promoting cooperation and understanding between the governments of Baghdad and the region, and all things that were points of difference will be resolved through the referendum of the Constitution and laws in force and fraternal understandings.[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, Hawrami said that "the message of the region represented by the heads of the region and the government is to strengthen cooperation with the government of Baghdad, especially as the capital is the political, historical and economic depth of all Iraqis."[/size]
