Parliamentary security demands a firm stance on the infringement of military institutions

A member of the Security and Defense Committee for the Sa'aroun parliamentary bloc, Saad Maya Al-Halafi, called on Friday, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to take a firm stand against the flagrant encroachments on the Iraqi state and its military establishment.
Al-Halafi said in a statement received that the honorable Iraqis worshiped with their pure blood the path of freedom and salvation from all those who tried to dominate their necks.
"The masses that elected members of the House of Representatives and empowered them to choose a government that meets their aspirations are now in a state of discontent and boiling," he said.
He called a member of the Security and Defense Parliamentary political blocs to stand in the face of all who want to weaken the state, pointing out: that all participants in the political process agreed to confine arms to the state.
