US President Donald Trump has said he does not care about the identity of the party that will protect the Syrian Kurds.
Trump said in a series of tweets on Twitter: `` After the end of ISIS succession 100% withdrew our troops from Syria, let Syria and Assad to protect the Kurds and fight Turkey for their land, I told my generals: Why should we fight in Syria, to protect the land of our enemy? ''
"I don't mind anyone contributing to helping Syria protect the Kurds, Russia, China or Napoleon Bonaparte. I hope they do a good job. We are 7,000 miles away."
Trump noted that some want him to protect the border of Syria, which is 7000 miles from America, which is governed by Bashar al-Assad, who he described as "enemy", stressing that he prefers to pay attention to the southern borders of his country over it.
Trump announced the withdrawal of US troops from northeastern Syria, after a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, before the operation 'spring of peace' launched by Turkey on northeastern Syria since Wednesday.
