Iraq signed a contract with the United Nations to support the implementation of the general population census late this year.
The Ministry of Planning stated in a press statement: " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] signed with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN- HABITAT) a joint cooperation contract to support the implementation of the general population and housing census to be implemented in the last third of the year 2020."
The ministry added: "The contract was signed by the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics Zia Awad Kazem, while Irfan Ali, the regional director of the program, signed it."
