Political analyst Mujahid al-Tai criticized the policy of caretaker Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi towards the demonstrators and the Iraqi people.
Al-Taei said in a press statement, "Adel Abdul-Mahdi said that we are dealing with the protesters in a patriarchal manner, that is, the patriarchy that kills demonstrators, sniping, kidnapping and assassination?"
He added, "Which father deals with his children with such cruelty? Any father who leaves the militia or colludes with it in order to undermine his demonstrating children?" This could be the patriarchy of the authority that knows only the consent of the foreign mother, Iran.
