The General Authority of the Federal Court of Cassation confirmed, on Thursday, that the quorum of the Federal Supreme Court is incomplete.
A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council, "Mawazine News", received a copy of it, that "the General Authority of the Federal Court of Cassation issued in its meeting held on 27/1/2020 a decision to agree that what will be issued by the Federal Supreme Court and is not complete quorum according to the provisions of Articles 3 and 5 of Court Law No. 30 of 2005 is not valid and non-binding.
He added, "The General Authority of the Federal Court of Cassation considered Article 97 of the Municipal Administration Law to be effective and invalid because the decision of the Federal Supreme Court to cancel it does not meet the legal form stipulated in Articles 3 and 5 of the Court Law because the quorum of the court is incomplete and is not considered any decision issued by it and it is not Quorum completed.
