, Baghdad Operations Command confirmed on Friday that a group inside the demonstrators attacked the security forces with a hand grenade.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the leadership said, "A new attack on two members of the first regiment in the law enforcement forces resulted in the throwing of an attack grenade by a group inside the demonstrators in the Al-Wathba area in Baghdad."
She added, "Our heroic security forces are still continuing to secure these demonstrations while exercising the highest levels of restraint and non-friction with the demonstrators." End / 29 BC
