    Economists and experts believe that the private sector should be supported to provide millions of job opportunities for the unemployed and graduates, through setting short, medium and long-term strategic plans to advance the productive sectors, especially industrial, agricultural, tourism, construction and construction.
    The economist Bassem Jameel said in an interview with Al-Sabah and seen by Al-Iqtisad News that “the most prominent challenges facing the new government are the unemployment crisis and providing job opportunities for the unemployed,” pointing to “the need to think about activating the private sector to find job opportunities for the unemployed, and not to think In the public sector because the state apparatus is replete with workers who do not provide the actual production that contributes to the gross domestic product. "
    He added that "activating the private sector will provide millions of job opportunities for the unemployed and graduates", pointing out that "the industrial sector alone absorbs tens of millions, because there are about a million workers currently in about 50 thousand semi-suspended factories in the private sector."

    he continued, "As for the agricultural sector, if it is actually supported and activated, it will contribute to providing about one million new job opportunities in addition to achieving self-sufficiency in agricultural products, while the construction, reconstruction and construction sector is considered one of the basic sectors in economic development because the country needs about 3 and a half million A housing unit, in the event that it starts directing the construction of housing complexes, it will provide employment opportunities for about a million and a half million people, in addition to this sector will do the transportation sector to transport raw materials and construction and therefore there will be an integrated development process. Aahi of the important sectors that could generate substantial financial resources in the event of interest in it and attract tourists from different countries of the world. "
    Foreign labor
    He pointed out that "there are about 750 thousand foreign workers in Iraq who entered informally," stressing "the importance of paying attention to this issue by limiting foreign employment and providing job opportunities for the Iraqi unemployed exclusively."
    He stressed that "all these issues require an economic vision and short, medium and long-term plans to absorb unemployment."

    For his part, the expert in industrial affairs, Abdel-Hassan Al-Shammari stressed, "the need to support the private industrial sector to provide job opportunities for the unemployed."
    Al-Shammari said, "The private industrial sector is one of the important productive sectors that can absorb millions of unemployed people."

    The Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee had previously announced a new strategy for 5 years, to provide job opportunities for the unemployed, while clarifying that it included granting soft loans and establishing industrial and service projects.
     
    Service projects
    Committee member Nada Shaker Jawdat said that "the new strategy aims to activate the productive sectors, such as agriculture, industry, housing and other service and investment projects, in order to provide job opportunities for the unemployed," noting that it "is implemented over a period of 5 years."
    She added that "it is implemented by granting soft loans to unemployed youth; every 7 or 10 people can be granted a financial loan of 100 to 200 million dinars, to create a small factory to produce consumer material, after providing an integrated economic feasibility of the project."
    Jawdat pointed out that "the government protects the product by preventing imports and obliges ministries and governmental and non-governmental agencies to contract with these factories to purchase their products in order to encourage the national product."
