    [size=18]Abdul-Hussein Al-Hanin, the resigned adviser to the Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, confirmed on Friday that the completion rates of the Grand Faw project amounted to 30%.


    Al-Hanin, who accompanied Abdel-Mahdi on his tour of the port of Al-Faw, said today, in a statement, Alsumaria News received a copy of it, "The completion rates of the major project of Al-Faw reached 30%."

    Al-Hanin added, "The project has received great attention in the government program because it is of the utmost importance in the Iraqi economy," noting that "the government has made every effort to complete important stages of the project with the specified time periods despite the obstacles that were put in front of them."







    Al-Hanin stressed that "the project always requires exceptional measures at all levels in order to see the light in the spring of 2022", pointing out that "the project considers the completion of this project as the main pillar for Iraq to be a link to global trade between East and West"

    Minister of Transport Abdullah Laibi reviewed on Friday the most important stages of the completion of the Grand Faw port project for Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, during their visit to Basra, Fayha, stressing that the Faw will overturn the transportation scales in the region and the world and map the new Iraqi economy.
    Laibi said during the tour, "The FAO port will be an essential tributary of the state treasury and will provide many job opportunities and open new economic horizons in addition to the oil resources enjoyed by Iraq."
    He added, "The strategy adopted by the Ministry of Transport in completing the infrastructure works in parallel to the Grand Al Fao Port Project will directly contribute to speeding up its completion according to the specified time, as the completion rate reached 30% with great efforts that resulted in a significant development in the level of work of the project."
    A detailed presentation was made of the work of the companies operating in the ports and the development and acceleration of business and projects in general in the Al-Faw port and the tunnel project in particular, which will be the main passage for the transit of cargo and containers from Fao to the whole country.
