Al-Zorfi: The Iraqi budget deficit reached 56 trillion due to increased government spending

The MP, Adnan Al-Zorfi, affirmed that the political blocs were not decided on his candidacy for the Prime Minister, calling on the political forces to accelerate the nomination of the Prime Minister.
Al-Zorfi said in a televised statement, "The government of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/82334/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%87%D8%AF%D9%8A][size=13]Abdul-Mahdi[/url] was unable to invest a budget last year, and the government overburdened the budget with appointments to calm protesters."
He added that "the budget deficit reached 56 trillion due to increased government spending," noting that "government companies constitute a" burden "on the oil sector."
Al-Zorfi added, "The allocations of the three presidencies have been greatly reduced," noting that "8 to 10 billion dollars are the imports of border crossings, of which only one billion enter the country."
