    Yassin Iraq: Baghdad, the

    Parliament Speaker calls for immediate firm measures
    on his part, Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi condemned the missile attack that targeted Al-Taji base, while calling for an immediate investigation and strict measures to be taken.
    A statement issued by Al-Halbousi’s office, which received “Yass Iraq,” a copy of it: “Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi condemns the attack on the Iraqi Al-Taji military base, on Wednesday evening, by shelling with Katyusha rockets, which resulted in the death of a number of dead and wounded coaches and consultants within the international coalition forces, Which exists at the request and approval of the Iraqi government to train Iraqi security forces, and provide support and support in combating ISIS and pursuing his remnants.
    Al-Halbousi called, according to the statement, “The Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to take firm and strict measures towards any targeting of Iraqi camps and military bases that include the coalition forces,” stressing “the need to open an immediate investigation to know the executing party and to prosecute and hold them accountable,” noting that “such These attacks are targeting Iraq’s security and territorial integrity. ”
    A joint US-British statement
    , for its part, pledged to the United States and Britain, to hold the perpetrators of the attack on the Taji base north of Baghdad, killing two American and British soldiers, in addition to an American contractor.
    US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stressed, in a telephone conversation with his British counterpart, Dominic Rap, that "those responsible for these attacks must be held accountable," according to a statement issued by the US State Department.
