Deputy: Most of the Shiite blocs will not attend the voting session for Al-Zarfi

Representative of the "Saeron" Raad Hussein coalition, boycotting most of the Shiite blocs, suggested that the parliament session would be held in the event that it was held to vote on Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi.
Hussein said in a press statement: "It is highly unlikely that the House of Representatives will succeed in holding a session to vote on the government of Prime Minister-designate [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/9081/%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B1%D9%81%D9%8A][size=13]Adnan Al-Zarfi[/url] in light of the spread of Corona virus and the lack of political consensus."
He added: "It is difficult to achieve the quorum in light of the boycott of most Shiite parties," noting: "The call for an extraordinary session is left to the presidency of the parliament."
