The Ministry of Planning announced, on Thursday, that it had chosen the Ministry of Education as the first ministries to test the "job number" system, indicating that it is the solution to many of the problems that the governmental body suffers from.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement that “the committee, which was formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Planning and a group of bodies regarding the employment number, submitted its recommendations to the Council of Ministers and in the light of it the Executive Committee was formed according to Diwani Order 55 of 2020 and is headed by the President The Statistics Authority and representatives of the Ministries of Interior, Finance and Communications, the Financial Supervision Bureau, the Prime Minister's Office and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and this committee continues its work since the beginning of the year by forming mobile teams from the Central Statistical Organization to review ministries and governorates to complete the data on employees in the ministries of the state.
Al-Hindawi added, "The lack of a real number of employees in the state creates a problem on the financial side, so the job number or this platform will include complete data on state employees and give an accurate picture, and then all problems can be addressed, including double salaries and space workers," indicating that "this will be linked."
