The Director General of the Ministry's Sector Planning Department, Basem Mahmoud, said in press statements that there are unremitting efforts being made by the Central Bureau of Statistics and the relevant authorities in the Ministry of Planning to conduct the general population census.
He added that the census will take place in the event that the appropriate conditions are available, expressing his hope that there will be seriousness on the part of the Ministry of Planning and the state's special agencies to conduct it.
