National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji confirmed today, Saturday, that there are no foreign forces inside Balad Air Force Base.

Al-Araji denied, during a statement to Alsumaria News, "the presence of any foreign combat forces inside the air base, with the exception of foreign civilian companies that exist according to official contracts with the federal government, which work to maintain warplanes and train Iraqi cadres on the technical aspects of maintenance work."

Al-Araji added that the visit took place at the direction of the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi To follow up on the air base, to see in the field the progress of work related to the maintenance of aircraft, and to meet with the officers and officials therein.
