Al-Amiri sends a strongly worded message to the British ambassador

Al-Amiri said a brief statement, of which the Euphrates News Agency received a copy, "The British ambassador must know the limits of his work, and we will not allow him to interfere in the internal affairs."
He added, "The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs should monitor the work of ambassadors and take what is necessary to prevent any interference in internal affairs."
The British Ambassador Stephen Hickey condemned in a tweet on Twitter the assassination of a prominent civilian activist in Karbala Governorate {Ihab Al-Wazni} two days ago, in which he said: "I strongly condemn the killing of activist Ihab Al-Wazni. Impunity for the killing of activists since October 2019 has only led to more. From murder. "
"There is an urgent need to take concrete measures to hold perpetrators accountable and protect Iraqi citizens as they prepare for the elections in October," he added.
