Today, Sunday, the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives believed that the government's appeal to some of the budget paragraphs would deprive the oil-producing provinces of their petro-dollar allocations.
A statement of the committee, received by the "National News Center", stated that "the Finance Committee is surprised by the appeal submitted by the government in some of the budget paragraphs that will deprive the oil-producing provinces of their petro-dollar allocations, after the Finance Committee added a paragraph in the budget that guarantees the rights of these provinces."
The statement added: “The Finance Committee also expresses its astonishment at the government's rejection of the House of Representatives’s decision to increase the purchase prices of wheat, barley and rice crops from farmers, as the Finance Committee included this paragraph in the budget in support of farmers and the advancement of the agricultural sector.
