Labor denies agreeing to grant aid to 8,500 citizens in Salah al-Din

On Sunday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs denied a statement by a representative in which he claimed that the ministry had agreed to grant social assistance to 8,500 citizens in Salah al-Din Governorate.
The ministry stated in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "one of the satellite channels offered a meeting with one of the representatives, in which he claimed that the ministry agreed to grant social assistance to 8,500 citizens in Salah al-Din Governorate, at the request of one of the representatives of the province."
The ministry confirmed, "This talk is baseless, and these numbers do not exist at all, and whoever claims otherwise must prove it."
She pointed out that "its doors are open and its database is available, to prove the lack of credibility and validity of this claim," calling on everyone "not to involve the ministry in personal campaigns of misrepresentation between this party or that."
And she pointed out that "it does not have the necessary allocations to include additional numbers, due to the transfer of most of its allocations when the budget is approved."
