The Chief Justice explains the work of the Anti-Corruption Committee

{Local: Al-Furat News} between the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, on Saturday, regarding the work of the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Zidan said, "The committee was formed recently, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ahmed Abu Ragheef, and aims mainly to return the state funds stolen by the influential in the ministries and which were smuggled outside the country," explaining that "the Judicial Council participated in this committee, where evidence is collected for issuing Judgments against those who are proven to have stolen money and received bribes and returned this money to the state treasury.
And he indicated that "there are a number of defendants arrested in the Ministry of Interior under this item, and judgments were issued against the former head of the retirement authority after the evidence, evidence and witnesses were confirmed, and the file of the Ministry of Electricity is currently being investigated."
