     Baghdad: Muhammad Al-Ansari
Yesterday, Monday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming regional conference in Baghdad at the end of this August, while Al-Kazemi’s envoys continue their tours to neighboring countries by handing over invitations to kings and presidents to attend the conference.

In a statement, the Prime Minister's Media Office stated that Al-Kazemi received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, during which they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the current regional situation and international developments.
The contact also discussed the ongoing preparations for holding a regional conference to be hosted by Iraq at the end of this month. Coordination was made to hold it in cooperation with France. The French president confirmed his aspiration to visit Iraq again and attend the conference.
Al-Kazemi stressed that France is a real partner for Iraq, and that the two countries have a long history of constructive relations, which we seek to develop in various fields.
For his part, the French President announced his full support for Iraq and the Prime Minister in his approach and measures to strengthen the Iraqi state institutions. Macron also praised the balanced Iraqi diplomacy, led by Al-Kazemi, and its contribution to consolidating the foundations of peace and stability.
In a related context, Al-Kazemi extended an invitation to the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz, to attend the Neighboring Countries Conference to be held in Baghdad.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement: "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh, and they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to achieve common interests."
Al-Sahaf added, "The two sides also discussed regional and international issues of concern to the two brotherly countries, and the importance of concerted efforts to resolve the crises afflicting the region."
And the official spokesman continued, "The minister delivered to the Saudi Foreign Minister an invitation letter from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, regarding the meeting of the Iraq Neighboring Countries Conference to be held at the end of this month."
Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced an upcoming visit by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein to Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in his weekly press conference yesterday, Monday, in response to a question about Iran’s invitation to a regional conference in Baghdad: “Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein will visit Tehran and we are not rushing about the content of the message he is carrying.” You will decide according to the content of the message you receive.”
Zadeh pointed out that "Iran supports dialogue in the region and has previously sought to conduct a dialogue on the course of events in the region, and Iraq can also play this role."
He said: "Iran has good relations with various Iraqi parties, including political parties in the Kurdistan region," stressing that "Iran's policy in support of Iraqi unity and sovereignty is consistent."
Iraqi envoys continue to deliver the invitations for the "Baghdad Summit of Regional Neighborhood Countries", which Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government intends to host at the end of this month.
Al-Kazemi has called, so far, for the leaders of the countries of Kuwait, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, to attend the upcoming meeting, through visits by Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein to Turkey and Saudi Arabia, in addition to the visit of Minister of Planning Khaled Battal to the State of Kuwait.
The Iraqi summit is not limited to the six geographical neighboring countries. It is hoped that Qatar, the Emirates, Egypt and America will participate, as well as representatives of the Union.
    European in it.
