    Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Agriculture discussed with the French side, opening new horizons for joint agricultural cooperation.
    The Ministry of Agriculture said in a statement received by the "National News Center", that "the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, participated in the livestock breeding summit in France, which is the largest agricultural exhibition in the world, where the number of participating companies and exhibitors reached about 2500 companies and exhibitors from around the world, and that In response to an official invitation in this regard, Al-Khafaji toured the various pavilions of the exhibition, where he met with a group of major international companies, including John Deere and FENDT, which specialize in the manufacture of various agricultural machinery and equipment, where he urged them to open horizons of cooperation and work in Iraq.
    According to the statement, Al-Khafaji met "another group of international companies working in the field of genetic improvement, breeding and selling livestock such as cows and sheep."
    Al-Khafaji agreed with "the largest laboratory specialized in diagnosing animal diseases to communicate directly to provide advice and advice in the field of diagnosing animal diseases and their causes, especially the deadly herpes koi disease that affects fish as well as diseases affecting Iraqi livestock."
    Al-Khafaji expressed his admiration for the exhibition and the advanced technological capabilities presented in it in various agricultural sectors, such as genetic improvement, fodder, vaccines, animal husbandry, and various agricultural equipment and machinery, which can be used to supply the agricultural sector in Iraq with what it needs to ensure its development, reduce production costs and increase productivity.
