The Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture has reduced the area of agricultural land for the winter season by half, due to the water crisis in the country.
Iraq was late in approving its agricultural plan for the current season, after attempts to persuade Iran to change its water policies towards Iraq, and it was proposed to share the damage between the two countries, and other solutions, all of which were rejected. Obtaining Iraq's water share.
